UploadPack affiliate programme terms
These terms govern participation in the UploadPack affiliate programme. They apply from the date your application is approved.
What are the affiliate programme terms?
Twenty percent recurring commission on net subscription revenue, 60-day last-click attribution, monthly payment above a £50 threshold, commission reversed on refund or chargeback, and removal from the programme for self-referral, brand bidding or misrepresentation.
Key takeaways
- 20% of net subscription revenue, excluding VAT
- 60-day last-click attribution
- £50 payout threshold, paid monthly
- Commission reversed on refund or chargeback
Commission
Commission is 20% of the net amount paid by a referred customer for a UploadPack subscription, excluding VAT and after any discount applied. Commission accrues on each successful payment for as long as the subscription remains active. Commission is not paid on the free tier, on failed payments, or on amounts refunded.
Attribution
Attribution is last-click within a 60-day window. Where a customer has clicked more than one affiliate link, the most recent click before subscription is credited. Attribution requires cookies to be accepted; we cannot credit referrals where tracking was blocked.
Payment
Balances are paid monthly in arrears once the accrued balance exceeds £50. Payment is made through our affiliate platform, which collects your payment details directly. You are responsible for any tax due on commission received, and for providing accurate details for payment.
Reversals
Commission associated with a refunded or charged-back payment is reversed against your balance. Where a reversal exceeds the current balance, it is carried against future commission.
Prohibited promotion
The following will result in removal from the programme and forfeiture of unpaid commission: self-referral or referral of accounts you control; bidding on the UploadPack brand name or close variants in paid search; presenting the product as free, unlimited, or as predicting view counts or guaranteeing growth; unsolicited bulk email or automated posting; and any promotion that misrepresents what the product does.
Changes and termination
We may change these terms with 30 days' notice to active affiliates. Commission already accrued under prior terms is unaffected. Either party may end participation at any time; accrued commission above the payout threshold remains payable. Where participation ends because of a breach of the prohibited promotion clause above, unpaid commission is forfeited.
Your status and your tax
Participation in the programme does not create an employment relationship, partnership, agency or joint venture between you and UploadPack. You take part as an independent party. You are solely responsible for declaring and paying any income tax, national insurance, VAT or equivalent obligations arising from commission you receive, in your own jurisdiction. Where you are VAT registered and required to charge VAT on commission, tell us before your first payout so that it can be handled correctly. We do not withhold tax on your behalf and we cannot advise you on your tax position.
Data protection
To run the programme we process your name, contact details, payment details and the performance data associated with your referral link. Referral tracking places a cookie on the devices of people who follow your link, recording only the identifier of the link and the time of the click. We do not share the personal data of referred customers with you: your monthly statement reports counts, conversions and commission, never the identity, email address or account contents of anyone who subscribed. You must not attempt to identify referred customers from the data available to you, and you must comply with UK GDPR and the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations in how you collect and use the data of anyone you promote to.
Brand use and liability
You may use the UploadPack name, logo and product screenshots to describe the product accurately. You may not alter the logo, imply that you are UploadPack or speak on its behalf, register domains or social accounts containing the name, or present your own material as official UploadPack documentation. You are responsible for the content you publish and for any claim arising from it. To the extent permitted by law, UploadPack's total liability to you in connection with the programme is limited to the commission payable to you in the twelve months preceding the claim, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, including lost profit or lost audience.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them. Nothing in these terms limits any right you have that cannot be limited by law.
